This article really surprised me because, they think they may have found a cure to how they can prolong women's biological clock so they can have children longer. I think, this will really grow because, now women have a longer time to enjoy life without kids or anything and, don't have to settle down as quick.

Online A Reflection

Technology is important because, it helps all of do things in our everyday life; it is used in hospitals schools, offices, etc. Technology over the last five years has grown so much, most business workers would not be able to survive a day without there blackberry, and teenagers would not even think of leaving the house without there cell phones. In the next 5 years, things will probably advance so much more, that I can't even think of what will come of it. For, school, I use my computer most of the time. For my personal use, I use the computer, my cell phone & my iPod most of the time. Tools that I don't think I will ever use again would probably be voki & the delicious account only because, they weren't very appealing to me. I liked using the blog, the igoogle & widgets & gadgets.

Cyber Bullying Video

I liked the movie because, it showed what the effects of a bully can do to a person. There have been plenty of kids who have committed suicide and, had very many physical & emotional problems due to the fact that they are bullied online. I do think, that they made it look very easy to get all of that done and that not very often and, actually I personally have never heard of a bully just being stood up to in front of everyone and, it being okay. This movie was like other cases because, they showed that it can be anyone that is trying to hurt you.

Podcast's- Break ups

This was a podcast was about how to get through break ups. They told you instead of staying home in the dark and, crying to get outside and be strong because, it can help the healing process a lot more. Next, was to surround your self with friends. The last thing was to give it time because, time is your number one healing factor.

Voki/Blabberize Comparison

I liked blabberize better because, it was much easier to use and it was a bit quicker, but quite honestly I wouldn't want to use either of them again because, I did not enjoy making the avatars especially because, I don't like the sound of my own voice. You could use these for like presentations though in a power point or something.

Technology Article- Microsoft India store hit by hackers

If you go on Microsoft in India right now you will receive this message "The Microsoft Store India is currently unavailable. Microsoft is working to restore access as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused." Over the weekend this was hacked if you are to go to their website right now you will see a picture of a man wearing a black hood. Ancker, accessed the site's database, including passwords. They later uploaded a file titled evil.html with the data. They have still not figured everything out but they have began investigating and have sent the customers warnings.

As a 6th grader I think you should probably be monitored by a parent being on the internet. You should make sure what your posting is appropriate & that your parents would be okay with what your saying. You should always look out and make sure that when you are friending someone you know them and that it would look okay if your friends with them. You can protect yourself online by not posting stuff that could help track you such as personal information like, phone numbers, addresses and more. You should practice good netiquette because you never know who is looking at your stuff and one day it could be a college or a job and always want to look good. You should be concerned about ID theft because, you are theifs number one target. You have no credit history so they can open anything they want and once they ruin your credit it becomes your irresponsibility not theirs.

Netiquette

Netiquette is a combination of network and etiquette and is a set of rules for behaving properly online. Netiquette affects everyone on the internet. Some good examples of good netiquette is being ethical, being nice to everyone you encounter. Poor netiquette is when you are harassing someone and, making them feel bad or posting inappropriate pictures.

Social Networking

Social networking is place where current friends, past friends, college and students can all interact in a website sharing pictures, videos, status's and more. A digital foot print is a trail left when interacting in a digital environment such, a phone, computer, and TV. Social networking affects you in social network because, anything you post can be pulled back up and shown to anyone such as future jobs you may be applying for or colleges your planning on going to.

Copyright and my understading

Copyright is the protection on certain things on the internet or any kind of media. Copyright applies to my life mostly because, each one of students do it almost everyday. Anytime one of us want a new song that just came out we go to one of the websites and it as simple as clicking download, anytime we want to watch a new movie that just hit the theaters we go to one of the MANY websites you can watch them for free. So should it be illegal? Yes, it really should be. Because, workers go out of there way to work as hard as they can on these things and yet we just watch everything they do hear everything for free. i think of it like this we would be upset if we went and worked all day and then someone else went in and told our boss they did it and get all of the credit.

The Bahamas (:

I thought my presentation overall went very well. My favorite part of my project would probably be finding all the cool places to go in the Bahamas like the water park; I defiantly want to go there in the future. My least favorite part would be doing the brochure I don’t really enjoy making them because, no one is going to read or see them. The strong points would be my pictures I thought they pretty cool & pretty (: In the future I would want to like celebrities or popular cities in the U.S.

My Year in Review!

The highlight of 2011 was when I went to Florida with my family for a week, I also enjoyed cheering for the freshmen football team & for homecoming, and the homecoming dance was defiantly my favorite part of freshmen year so far. My low point would be losing close friends & spraining my ankle right before cheer & show season, I wouldn’t do anything differently though because, I like where my life is at right now & I would not want to change it. My goal for 2012 would be to get better grades, to get a closer relationship with my parents. If I was given 100,000 dollars to start the new year I think I would just put away for when I was older so I had money to fall back on if I needed it.
