As a 6th grader I think you should probably be monitored by a parent being on the internet. You should make sure what your posting is appropriate & that your parents would be okay with what your saying. You should always look out and make sure that when you are friending someone you know them and that it would look okay if your friends with them. You can protect yourself online by not posting stuff that could help track you such as personal information like, phone numbers, addresses and more. You should practice good netiquette because you never know who is looking at your stuff and one day it could be a college or a job and always want to look good. You should be concerned about ID theft because, you are theifs number one target. You have no credit history so they can open anything they want and once they ruin your credit it becomes your irresponsibility not theirs.
